Malegaon Power Supply Limited (MPSL), a wholly owned subsidiary of CESC Limited, Kolkata, has been entrusted with the responsibility of distributing reliable electricity to the city of Malegaon. On 1st March 2020, MPSL commenced operations by taking over the electricity distribution business from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) as its franchisee through a transparent, competitive bidding process.

Since inception, MPSL has been committed to delivering safe, reliable, and uninterrupted power supply to the people of Malegaon. With a customer base of over 1.28 lakh consumers, growing at an average rate of 4% per year, MPSL today stands as a trusted power partner in the region. The distribution network caters to a maximum demand of 245 MW, witnessing a consistent annual growth of nearly 3 %, reflecting Malegaon’s economic and industrial progress.

Spanning an area of 58 sq. km, MPSL manages its distribution operations with modern systems and advanced technology. Outage management is centrally controlled from our Command & Control Centre near Upkaar Cinema, Malegaon, ensuring efficient monitoring and quick restoration of supply. To further strengthen our customer-first philosophy, MPSL operates a 24x7 Centralized Call Centre, enabling consumers to lodge complaints, register service requests, and receive timely updates with ease.
